We are so excited to introduce a new series of our blog! We have been discussing A LOT about what we as moms enjoy reading and what we have time to read! We know a lot of moms out there don’t have a ton of time to read blog post articles, so we wanted to make this series quick, valuable, and interesting for you!

Each week we will be posting our favorite things, mom hacks, parenting tips, etc., that we have found helpful to us and that have made our lives easier! Because we believe that #MomsLivesMatter, and if mama ain’t happy, NO ONE IS!

So let’s get started with the first ever #MomsLivesMatter series!

#1. Crockpot Liners

You guys, these plastic little things are the best thing that has ever happened to me. We are in the season of crockpot meals, and nothing makes me happier than an easy clean up. These will seriously change your life. Hurry up and buy them here. Don’t worry about thanking me, just do it!

#2. Smith’s or Kroger’s Clicklist

I’ve never been more excited to grocery shop in my life!!! And I DESPISE grocery shopping!!! You can order your groceries online,  schedule a time to pick them up, and they will BRING THEM OUT TO YOUR CAR! No more dealing with embarrassing tantrums, or forgetting a million things on your list because you’re dealing with children. I do it every Sunday night and have my weekly meal plan laid out for me while I add items to my bag. I then go pick it up after I take my daughter to school on Monday, without having to bring tweedle dee and twiddle dum inside! It’s seriously fantastic! If you have a Smiths or Kroger grocery store near you, check out which location offers it!

#3. Scotcharoos! (or peanut butter scrunchies as I like to call them)

The easiest and yummiest dessert! Seriously everyone loves them and you can make a whole pan in like 10 min. It’s wonderful for FHE treats, parties, GNO, etc. Here’s how to make it:

6 Cups Rice Krispies

1 cup Peanut Butter

1 cup Sugar

1 cup Karo Syrup

6 oz butterscotch chips

6 oz chocolate chips melted together (and if you don’t have butterscotch chips, you can just use the whole bag of chocolate chips)

In a small pan mix your karo syrup and your sugar and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. When it starts to boil, add your peanut butter and mix it in.

Take it off the heat and pour your mixture over your Rice Krispies and mix it all together.

In a well greased 9 x 13″ pan press your Rice Krispie mixture in, just like you would for Rice Krispie treats.

Mix your chips in a bowl and put them in the microwave for 1 minute. When they are melted, smear it all over the top of your Rice Krispie layer.

And boom! You’re done! Easy peasy and I can seriously eat the whole pan myself. So addicting!

I hope these #MomsLivesMatter tips were helpful! See ya next time!
