Every time I go shopping, I always find myself gravitating toward basic clothing. Basic tops, pants, skirts, dresses, etc. I love a clothing item that I can layer and make it go a hundred different ways. I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth especially if it’s a more expensive item.

Maxi/Midi dresses are everywhere. I love a good form fitting basic dress. It can go a thousand different ways which makes them even better. And you can wear them if you are pregnant! BONUS!

Here is the first way I styled my basic dress. Casual, comfy but cute! Tie a sweater or flannel around your waist, throw a hat on and sneakers and you look like you didn’t even try to look that cute. Isn’t that the look we’re all going for?

I call look number #1… “I WOKE UP LIKE THIS.”

Put a blazer on top and you’re ready for work, your next meeting, church etc.! I love how a good fitting blazer instantly knocks off 10 pounds! People will move out of your way when you have your blazer on. It screams, “IT’S BUSINESS TIME & I GOT SHIZ TO DO!” But in a classy way. 😉

Look #3…Boots with the FURRRR.

When you’re feeling a bit more trendy or you want to be called Fancy Nancy, throw that fur on! Every girl NEEDS a fur in her closet! This fur vest is so versatile and is always on trend in my book.
